THE SCOOTER STORY

Mr. Scooter, a pearly pied cockatiel, began his vocal career by imitating a squeaky door.

Scooter at the micophone He has since expanded his repertoire to include such musical classics as La Cucaracha, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, and Tequila, the last of which he performs on Full Moon Bay’s first release. To hear Scooter's performance of Tequila, we have a Real Audio file of it here

Following Alfred Hitchcock’s tradition of appearing in all of his own movies, Scooter plans to make a cameo appearance on each of the band’s future recordings.

He recently appeared on network TV shows Fox News Channel's Pet News and the Maury Povich Show and had a feature article written about him (and his "parents" Bob & Patti Hauver of Hudson Valley Records and Full Moon Bay) in the July 1998 issue of Bird Talk magazine.

He now has a legion of fans known as "Scooter Rooters" who flock to Full Moon Bay gigs in hope of glimpse of the "First Bird of Rock" as he was dubbed after his Pet News TV appearance.

And of course, he also has his own new line of products - with his image in a variety of humorous settings - called ScooterWare !

Learn more about Scooter and his band mates from Full Moon Bay from a Profile from the Gavin Report, a radio trade magazine that lists chart action for radio station DJ's that interviewed the band.
